Dethlac should be sprayed where the ants appear in the kitchen (please read directions, as it should not be sprayed onto any food preparing surfaces). I could wash off the film with a sponge, and at no point did I see white marks or permanent stains, but I can’t guarantee this will be the same for you – I suggest testing it first. I can only recommend Dethlac as an alternative to Spiderex if y ou only use it in inconspicuous areas, but it does work out much cheaper.
