We had an amazing tour of the beautifully building, finding out many different stories that had been found during it's recent restoration. The Brownstone clan are a family of adventurers and explorers who seem to deal with danger through kindness and cleverness alongside a large dollop of bravery. OK, the story, as with all of the Brownstones’ books, it is about defeating the odds, but I mean Joe himself.

Taking inspiration from their visit to Holy Trinity Church in March where the children had the wonderful experience of handling artifacts from the past, they have used drama, creative writing and craft activities to create their own stories. Furthermore, his characters from Arthur and the Golden Rope or Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx are the recognisable, almost every- people.

The children also had the opportunity to use mathletics to challenge children in their mental maths from around the world.

I have even talked the head into a little revamp of the library so that we can display them properly! Filled with legendary stories from his ancestors, they tell of fearless fighters and unlikely heroes. You guys are such a force for good and I am a passionate supporter of Indie booksellers, so I'm so happy this worked out well (I'd love to know how many books were sold if you have it to hand - it felt like quite a lot!This book presents these double features year-by-year, and includes production details, historical notes, and critical commentary for each film.
