It is fast paced with lots of twists and turns, a well written book I definitely felt Dora’s pain the tragic circumstance that threw her life into a free fall, I definitely felt her pain and could sympathize with her character.

Then when I was about to start the last third: I realized the author moved the story backwards with 11 years long flashback and another narrator joined with Dora! I wasn't quite expecting some of this content - there were a *lot* of details about escort services - but it helped with the story overall.

Dora is in her early 30s and to me, Atherton sounded much older than that, but I also never would have guessed Dora's age unless it was said in the book.
