The Love Letter is a truly multi-faceted story… there is mystery, action, espionage, romance and menace… A dangerous game of cat-and-mouse through lies and love, secrets and subterfuge, deception and danger.
Although the place holds dear memories not just of her childhood but also that of her own children, Posy feels it’s time to sell the house which is falling apart around her. Involuntarily handing over her identity and ties to her husband after being caught up in a deadly web of lies due to her involvement with a wealthy family, the consequences will be felt for generations. Unfortunately, the narrative soon becomes convoluted with extraneous side plots which left me feeling like I never quite connected to the story or characters.
